ROWING TOWARDS SANTO TORIBIO

Riaño will be the stage to close the Jubilee Year that will close the Jubileum Year on April 16 2024 with the closing of the "Door of Forgiveness" in the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana.
We will make a symbolic rowing trip that will remember the path that so many pilgrims took in the past by land and sea to go to the Monastery of Santo Toribio.
Riaño is a small town in León surrounded by an incredible lake and the magnificent Picos de Europa.
Vogalonga, Venice
Date: May, 2024
Getaway from May 17 to 20 to participate in La Vogalonga regatta. We will descend from San Giuliano and enter the Grand Canal we will arrive at San Marcos to take the regatta start at 9 o'clock in the morning. It is an indescribable moment when, after the cannon shot, all the bells of Venice begin to ring amid the applause of approximately 18,000 rowers. The regatta lasts all day.
The trip will also offer an interpretation key approach to the following topics:
• Traditional Venetian boats and their Venetian vogue.
• Traditional shipyards (squeros) and artisans (fórcolas, oars, etc.)
• Traditional shade wine bars at the foot of the canal (tapas are also available here).
• Biennale venues (Arsenale and Giardini), and of course the great Venetian icons (Grand Canal, Rialto, Pescheria, La Salute, San Marco)
In short, an unforgettable experience that you do not have the opportunity to participate in every day.
